Conservation that makes a real, long-term impact requires work that extends beyond game reserve boundaries.

The Zululand Conservation Trust (ZCT) works continuously to empower local communities through assistance in education and by forging mutually beneficial partnerships in conservation initiatives.

Through empowerment, upliftment and education we aim to reinforce the value of wildlife and conservation.

The Zululand Rhino Orphanage is a ZCT project that was born out of tragedy when poachers attacked another regional rhino orphanage in February 2017, forcing them to shut their doors.

The facility’s closing left a number of rhino orphans homeless with nowhere to turn. The ZCT rose to the challenge and immediately began working against the clock to create

a home for these displaced babies. The Zululand Rhino Orphanage has grown out of necessity since those early days. We are now able to care for those original displaced

orphans along with others who have since tragically landed under our protection.

The Zululand Rhino Orphanage’s mission is to rehabilitate these orphaned rhinos and return them to the wild where they belong.

We aim to provide the possibility of a bright and safe future for these precious survivors and ultimately, the species as a whole.

Please consider supporting our organisation through a donation or the purchase of a bushstrap.

Each purchase contributes much needed funds to our community and conservation work.

Because every single Rhino Survival Bracelet is hand made, please give us 2 working days to make this and have it shipped to you.

Sizes range from 15cm – 25cm. Anything larger than 26cm is not the same price and is not considered a wrist band.

This option comes standard with the adjustable d-shackle:
